Since its founding over 50 years ago, the Lancaster Conservancy has protected over 10,000 acres of land across 50 preserves throughout Lancaster and York counties. Our preserves are open to the public free-of-charge 365 days a year and provide opportunities for passive recreation like hiking, fishing, hunting, and creek stomping.
We have protected some of the most beautiful and beloved natural places in our region – places like Climbers Run, Welsh Mountain, Tucquan Glen & Pyfer, Mill Creek Falls, and Shenks Ferry Wildflower preserves. When we conserve and care for our woods and water, we protect the health of our lands, watersheds, wildlife, and community – forever.
As a member-supported organization, we need your help to save our wildlands.
The Lancaster Conservancy is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.
